
Wesley Watkins Scholarship
The Wesley Watkins Scholarship is
awarded annually to as many as four BONENT members in good
standing: two international and two U.S. members. Competition
is based on a winning essay written by the applicants. The
topic is determined by the BONENT Board of Directors.
The 2007-08 topic is Managing the Difficult Dialysis Patient.
Criteria for Selection
- The individual must be currently
employed in the field of nephrology.
- The applicant must be BONENT-certified
for at least one year.
- Two letters of recommendation
from nephrology professionals must be included with the
application.
- The applicant is required to
submit a one-page essay on the current topic, as advertised
in Update, the BONENT quarterly newsletter, or published
on the organization’s website. “Managing the Difficult Dialysis Patient”
is the 2007-08 essay topic.

documents must be postmarked by midnight, September 30, 2008
in order to be considered.
