• Can only speak to exam applicants regarding application details.
• May not discuss any application with managers, supervisors educators, co-workers or family members.

The Premier International Organization for Certification of Nephrology Professionals

The Board of Nephrology Examiners, Inc. Nursing and Technology (BONENT) believes that, as an organization, it is incumbent upon us to:

• Identify safe, competent practitioners in nephrology nursing and technology
• Promote excellence in the quality of care of the nephrology patient; and
• Encourage the study and advance the science of nursing and technological fields in nephrology.

BONENT serves as a representative voice, urging legislation and regulatory movement toward meaningful training, certification and credentialing of all nephrology practitioners.

In addition, BONENT certification programs reflect its global status as the leading certification group of nephrology nurses and technologists/technicians worldwide. Examinations are conducted as far away as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Turkey and a growing list of international countries.

BONENT membership is comprised of nurses and technicians who have received a passing score on a BONENT exam and are thereby certified. Members must recertify every four years. Today, over 3,900 nurses and technicians have met our criteria and are BONENT-certified.

Despite its impressive growth in recent years, BONENT remains largely a “grassroots” organization that depends on the help of all of its members in order to sustain itself, thrive and grow.
